Miss/block in combat

Postby mrdarkavocado on May 20th, 2008, 4:06 pm

I swear there's like a 66% chance I'll miss the enemy with any given attack and only like a 10% chance that they'll miss. This is quite bothersome. Do any of the stats affect accuracy or evasion?

'Strike' is your stat related to accuracy-the higher the better. If you have something that raises strength (or strike), that will raise the chance to hit 'em.

'Defense' is the evasion one-raising your wisdom makes it harder to be hit.

This is where the items you equip yourself with come into play. Spend some of your money and equip yourself with stuff to raise your strike. Your race also comes into factor, each region is strong and weak against a different region. I don't recall which right now, but there is a topic about that somewhere.

Maybe you can also trying lowering the WSDM of your opponent to lower their defences and try to strengthen yours if you want to improve your defences.

Lowering wsdm is not going to help because the opponent has high wsdm anyway that will also guard the spell that lowers wsdm so the best thing to do is to buy some items that will raise your strike and level up your character more often until around lvl 10 or so. Some items lower your strike but most will still raise your speed high so make sure to go to the place where you level up and your inventory and drag your mouse to the item to see what the item raises.
